I feel it deep within, it’s just beneath the skin
I keep it caged but I can’t control it.
[/right]Personality: Jack is pretty simple: don't talk to her, she won't talk to you. In fact, even if you do talk to her, she might not answer. She is a very withdrawn individual; she hates it when people she doesn't know come up to her and just start talking because she never knows what they're going to do. She has a quiet voice and doesn't think anything she has to say is very important. She rarely trusts anyone and doesn't mind if people don't trust her. If she knows someone trusts her, she feels like she should trust them, or at least try to. She doesn't want to do that. She hates it when she finds herself letting a person see her for more than the quiet-shy-girl front she puts up; she's got a horrible fear of betrayal.
She can't stand people yelling at her. When people--especially men--start yelling at her, she panics and shakes and feels like she loses control. She has PTSD and shakes when she is triggered. Sometimes she shakes even when she doesn't think she's triggered, but she can't make it stop anyway. She blames herself for a lot of things, even when they aren't really related to her. The slightest mess up seems like a huge mistake to her; the situation plays over and over again in her mind, making her feel horrible or stupid about it.
Jack loves animals. In her mind, they're the only beings on this earth she can see herself loving and trusting. To her, animals are safe and warm. They bring comfort. People only bring pain. Nature, when it has not been tampered with by people, is beautiful to her. She loves to look at flowers and trees, though she doesn't know much about them. Their natural beauty is something she envies.
"Natural beauty" is something Jack doesn't think she has. She doesn't see herself as remotely beautiful, and no amount of make-up would change her opinion. She rarely sleeps well, so she has dark shadows under her eyes. She hates her body, her face, her everything. Mirrors are her enemy; she hates them almost more than she hates talking with people, because they show her her reflection.
Appearance: Jack stands about 5'5". Her dark brown hair is chopped short in the back, slowly getting longer in the front. It hangs straight, with no wave or curl to it. She weighs around 140lbs.
She hates wearing clothes that are form-fitting, but she hates clothes that are overly baggy. She wears things that don't stand out; she wants to be nondescript. Her jeans tend to be more form-fitting, simply because they won't stay on her hips if they aren't close to the size she wears. For the most part, her shirts are old, faded band t-shirts and over-sized jackets. She always wears shoes, too, though the type of shoe varies slightly. She wears sneakers or Converse, though they are never open-toed or less covering than sneakers would be. She shows as little skin as possible.
She refuses to wear anything white. White is a "pure" color, and she doesn't see herself as pure. To her, it seems like she would be mocking the concept of the color if she wore it. No use in filthying up a "clean" outfit with her disgustingness. Most of the things she owns are dark in color, including the single belt she owns that she wears every day (to keep her jeans up).
